Default Noises???

Hey guys, while driving around the other day, I started to hear a squeling noise when I push in on the clutch???? It doesn't happen everytime, but it really is freaking annoying; any ideas??? I think maybe throw out bearing, but I'm don't fully understand the whole clutch assembly...can anyone help, thanks!

LOL, never mind guys...problem solved! Talked to a local mustang performance shop today and they said that its the clutch cable! So for less then $200 they'll install a Steeda Firewall Adjuster, Steeda Adjustable Clutch Cable, and a Steeda Quadrant! Thank god that's all it is! Thanks!

Get another opinion, it sounds more like a throw out bearing going bad.

I've never had that problem with a clutch on the mach. The stock clutch actually held up very well until i upgraded to the Ram HD.. I don't pretend to be a clutch expert, but I would say that like the guys have said it could possible be the throw out bearing (Though if the throw out bearing I would think you'd have a harder pull on the pedal than normal?), or as your shop said a bad cable. That's just me though.. A second opinion certainly couldn't hurt broham..

He may be talking about cable or quadrant squeak. He said he gets the noise when he steps on the clutch. Normal throw out bearing noise happens when the clutch is engadged and the sound stops when when you step on the clutch.

Hey guys, just so you know, I had a Steeda Adjustable Clutch Cable, Firewall Adjuster, and Billet Quadrant Installed and the noise is gone! And by the way, what a great mode!
