Default burn out

hey guys. going to the track tonight for the first time. need to know what kind of burn out to do. some guys say to let the tires spin for like 5 seconds then other guys r telling me to just dump the clutch. let them spin from a second then clutch in.. just to get all the shiz off them? i have street tires.. there 315's. i did a few launches near my place to see what worked and i found just dumping it n rolling forward for a second then clutching in seemed to work as well as heating them up.. i had a bit of spin in first but was pretty easy to drive without breaking loose to much?
