Cool

Hey everybody been awhile since I have been on...

As for the op I would have prefered to buy the kooks long tubes but I bought the BBKs and have had no problem with them. The only thing I dont like is that you have to remove them to pull the trans.

Also I put the headers on myself it was alot of trying to get the right angle with the wrench and not having much room to tighten thethe header bolts. However after I got my new trans through warrenty I found it was worth it because my friend and I did better with 2 jacks than the dealership did with a lift.

ok... the price i was quoted was 450 they said they were going to try to use the same gaskets and that it would take about 8 hrs. i know they do ALOT of work on mustangs of all types. like i said before its always packed with mustangs and the boss has a SVT corba not sure what year but i know what they told me is comparable to everything ive found in my searches... so it doesnt seem like a bad deal

$450 is the average going rate in NC from what I've seen. What part of NC are you in?

I have the bbk longtubes and as far as fitment goes, they are fine. A couple of bolts take some extra work but other than that no issues. They do hang pretty low and you have to remove the pass side to take the tranny off, so that is a negative. If price is your biggest concern, I would get the MAC headers from lethal. They dont hang as low and they dont have to be removed to get to the tranny. I only bought bbk because I had credit to AM and they dont sell MAC headers for the 4v motor.

I installed them myself on a Saturday - no big deal. Just follow the guide on AM (I wrote it ). I have no leaks and no problems so far after 5 months.
