Yeah, that was kind of nice, the axle assembly including an upgraded cover.

Well, did the rear brakes today (Baer rotors and EBC Red Stuff ceramic pads).

Also changed the parking brake cables. They were a mess. One frozen and the other about 200% tougher to move than it should be. The cables on mine were the originals, new ones are a LOT different. They have foam noise insulation and silver heat reflective wrap, plus a heavy woven overcoat on the part that feeds through the LCA. None of this was on the original '05 part.

Had a serious biotch of a time getting the Watts link setup to center the axle perfectly, but it's done now and spot on.

Then put the new H&R 26mm rear bar on. Hoping it works as nice as it looks. This is almost too fine looking a part to be under the car never to be seen.

I'm finally ready to move on to the transmission swap itself starting tomorrow. It's taken a lot longer overall than anticipated, because I've had to do most of it solo, without even someone available to hand me tools for a good part of the job.

I might be free to lend a hand. Send me a PM and I'll see if I can work something out.

Wow! Quite an undertaking! Looking real good. Best of luck getting it wrapped up by the weekend!

Thanks. One of those undertakings that keeps getting bigger as it goes along. Still hoping for the weekend, but realistically I'd say 50/50 odds at this point.

I'm going to be going at it hard tomorrow maybe with Jonathan(I_Call_D.I.B.s) helping.

If you want to come by on Thurs, I'm pretty sure there will still be stuff to do.
