Default Winter Plans???

What do you do with your Mustang for the winter? Daily drive it through, take it out on nice days only or fully hibernate? ... for me, I'll keep it active, but only take it out when there's no ice/snow and the sand/salt is at a minimum. I'm hoping for a repeat of last winter to say the least!

I drive mine until the first snow happens and the salt goes down on the road. From there it goes into full hibernation until spring.

Winter tires and wheels going on Tuesday. Gonna make the Stang tough it out this winter and hopefully get a winter DD come next year.

I think I will go nutz if I have to go into to full hibernation for several months. I've seen winters where that's certainly a possibility. Just hope not this month!

I do the "nice days only" thing. If we get a good heavy rain, to wash the salt away, followed by a decent sunny day, I'll take the 'stang out. I don't really like letting vehicles sit for months totally unused.

Full hibernation will be next weekend.

Oil change, send old oil to blackstone
new oil filter
inflate tires to 45psi
dryer sheets in cabin
tape over exhaust pipes
Battery Tender
Take off insurance

Wait till its nice out again for a steady period of time.

I can't blame you for the hibernation thing, but that must be tough to not drive your car for a few months.

It makes the first startup that much better.

My DD used to be a 2010 WRX, so it was a blast. Just got rid of it though so this winter will be a little tougher in the driving fun department.

BUT! It'll make that first stang drive that much better because my DD only has 1/2 the HP.

Get that M122 on there, then the DD will only have 1/3 the HP
