any one in michigan, or northern ohio/indiana know how to put gears in, and if so do you think you could help me out. I've done it before in autoshop class on a f150 with the 8.8, but i need someone with the experiance of doing it more than once to help me out

 

Do it at aford dealership. It cost me $170 for the gear and $400 for labor. Aliitle steep, but they war.. it for a year. A dealership will do it right . If you live near Toledo, let me know.

 

im in monroe michigan, just north of toledo, ive called around and have been quoted 350 just about everywhere except one place that quoted 300, but they also said 4.10's wont fit inside of my rear end, i just hung up the phone at that poing

 

I can't beleive they said they couldn't put in a 4.10 gear. The only gear I've ever heard that for is a 3.90. Monroe is about 13 min north of me. Bronde's Ford on Secor/Alexis in Toledo did mine and no issues. Im having a supercharger put on at Livernois MotorSports in Dearborn. They are aftermarket installer and dealer. You will pay alittle more, but the install will be done right. Dan Millen is helping me out. His number is 313-561-5500.
