1996 3.8L swap to a 97 3.8L

i have a 96 ford mustang 3.8L and im going to take the motor out of it and swap in in a 97 ford mustang that has a 3.8L also will everything bolt up and go together right or is there anything i need to change?

It's the same stuff, you could use a minivan engine and it would be the same for the most part.

So the transmission and everything will bolt up perfect?

Yep, that tranny will bolt up to anything up till '04 I believe.
