Default Throttle linkage help

Long on my way through my motor swap in my 67 coupe. I6 to 351w. The motor is in the car and I'm starting to get the odds and ends together. But I need help with the throttle linkage. Not sure what to do to make my linkage work or where to buy a kit to make my linkage work. Obviously with the I6 the throttle is on the passable side but with the small block it will go on the driver side. Any help would be appreciated

Plenty of aftermarket suppliers out there...

-NPD (National Parts Depot)
-Mustang Unlimited
-J/C Pony parts

Those guys will have you covered.

Default Throttle linkage help

I guess what my real question was not where to buy from. But as far as the linkage for a small block is it just the throttle pedal assembly and the rod between that and the carb?

Sorry, I didn't read you right...

You'll need everything from the firewall to the carb.
That includes the main linkage/rod which is much shorter for the V8 and also the correct short rod to connect from it to the carb.
Here's a diagram:

Note that it shows the difference between 2V and 4V carburetors...

In 69 the 351 uses a cable from pedal to carb. Maybe get a 69 pedal and go that route?

I know this is kind of and old thread but this needs to be posted up.

I did this to my 67 Fastback and man alive, I'm telling you what, it looks great, is absolutely butter smooth and cheap to put together. So if you're not going with a factory carburetor setup, I'd really suggest giving this a look.
