Cool 1966 5.0 Coyote Hellcat Hunter

I have a 1966 GT coupe that I would like to put a 2016 engine, transmission, dash & seats in my old car. I am also thinking of narrowing the 2016 front frame to use the new front axle , brakes , steering. Basically take the 1966 & set it on top of the 2016 from the seats forward. Has anyone tried this or heard of this? I forgot to say I have had the 1966 since I was 15 years old ( My first car, 46 years now ). I have a cousin that said that he wouden`t pull up beside a Hellcat in this. So I think he challenged me to a race, I`m looking to make some big horsepower. This redneck needs all the help he can get. Thanks Tony

Hellcat Hunter, but not a Hellcat Slayer... You always hunt and catch
nothing...

You aren't beating a Hellcat... You won't get 707 HP from a stock 5.0 Coyote,
and for what it's going to cost you to do so? Buy a Hellcat... The RedEye is
also coming. Crate has been teasing a Mopar 1000 HP Elephant motor, not
street legal.

Plus, a few more mods to the Hellcat, he's pushing 802 HP. It takes 90+
of that horsepower just to turn the super-charger. That engine will suck
all the air from a 12x12 room in a ~minute.

$8,000 more, you get 1500 HP from the Hellcat motor; Pulley, Fore Stage 3 Fuel
System, Nitrous Outlet system with purge and switch panel, NOS Progressive
Launcher system, 127lb injectors, Crank Case Breather, ARH headers, Ice Tank 11
Gallon and an Ecu tune.

Buy a Demon, and show them a thing or two... Can't get a new one, they're
done with production, but people are selling them already...

Default 1966 5.0 Coyote Hellcat Hunter

Tony, it would be criminal to even think about altering that 1966. I would suggest as a alternative, finding a Mustang rolling chassis already set up for big power and then build/buy a Dart 363 stroker. Nothing fancy will get the job done, and still remain street legal. You can hit 850 HP on carburetion. This set-up will have no problems with any, street legal, MOPAR. I am talking from, real world, experience. I would love to see you at a NMRA event with this set-up. Good luck'.

Thumbs up

I said nothing about being stock. I did say I wanted to make some big horsepower - Roush - Whipple . I want this car to look completely stock from the outside, except wheels & tires ( wheels will look from the car`s hay day ). I would like to talk - see someone that has done this or wants to do the same thing.

Tony, sorry for the misinformation. Best of wishes on this project.
