V6 swap
Hey everyone, I have some questions I need answered. I am thinking I want to swap the engine in my 2013 V6 to a V8. Ok before you just tell me to trade it in and buy a V8, leave, if you're still reading here is the background. Car as been my daily driver for almost 10 years, very reliable, no issues. It has 227000 miles on it. It has a roush exhaust, roush short shift system and a carbon fiber hood as well as upgraded wheels. I love the car, never plan to sell it, none of this is for any kind of financial gain so I don't care about resale value. The car is about to no longer be a daily driver, I'm all grown up with a family so practicality wins and I'm getting a new daily driver that fits that life. Mustang is long paid for and I still want to drive it for enjoyment on occasion.
So, what, other than the engine would I need to purchase and change to accommodate a GT engine? I would love a GT500 engine but that probably is unrealistic.
OR do you have suggestions on things I should consider doing instead to upgrade my V6 to a more powerful, fun ride instead, if you feel the V8 is not worth the hassle. Again, my only concern with that is the 227000 miles already on the V6 engine. But maybe you have suggestions on how to mitigate that.
time and money aren't really obstacles so while it's a consideration, it's not a deal breaker. Thank you in advance for the suggestions and advice.

The easiest way to do the swap is to buy a wreck as a donor car. That way you have all the parts you need (engine, transmission, ECU). Since you have a 2013 you already have the 8.8" rear end so a donor car that was smashed in the back shouldn't be an issue.
