I recently got a crown victoria for the 4.6L, the engine was running great in the crown victoria. I swap it into my mustang and now it's vibrating and knocking/pinging on the passenger side. I did everything right, swaped the oil pan, oil pickup toob, motor mounts and intake. The crown victoria is a 2001 and the mustang 2000. Any help or advice would be appreciated

 

Did you swap the engine ECM from the Lincoln to the mustang as well? Not sure if the engines are identical in timing etc.

Also, check your O2 harneses and make sure the passenger side isn't damaged with bent/broken wires. Bad O2 readings could cause problems.
