I think it looks a little out dated now but IMO its a nice car and im sure it was awesome looking when it came out... if i had alot of money to waste... well i probably still would not buy one but i sure would like to see a few around just because its different.

i think the designs were ahead of its time, and i think if it was put into production and changed a little bit and had a fuel efficient motor in it, it would compete with some of the other small cars from other manufacturers

First of all, I have ads on this thread's page that are for Hyundai, haha.
Second,
As long as it didn't have a Mustang name to it, I would be okay with that.

Just Do it!
Certainly they should produce this vehicle. It's not a very masculine looking car and it doesn't keep to the whole muscle car look and so it won't really appeal to hard core stangers but it would certainly open mustang up to a whole new market share. It's a roadster so I disagree about the comment that it resembles a Tiburon. I have seen this concept in a copy of Road&Track Magazine and didn't give it much thought but the american vehicle market didn't give the first electric vehicle produced by GM much thought either. I'm sure many people are regretting it now.
Now with the economic issues and with the issues in the american auto market I think this car would tickle the fancies of the daughters of the financialy elite (which will trickle down especially if they got someone like Paris Hilton to drive one) and single 45 year olds in addition they'd be keeping the money in house instead of forking it over seas.
That's my two cents...
