Default Mustang mods- devaluing questions

Greetings!

My question pertains to modifying a Mustang and how it affects the value of the vehicle.

I have a 2007 GT / CS and I have done some performance / appearance mods to the vehicle. I drive it from April through October, usually taking it out only on nice days and entering it in local shows.

I'm thinking about adding a Shelby style Billet grille and doing the fog lamp delete. Also contemplating deleting the GT / CS stripes and going with Shelby stripes, emblems, hood etc. The questions are: How will this affect the resale of the car and how will the mods affect the judging of the car in shows.

I'm just trying to get an idea before I jump into a high dollar project.

Thanks in advance for any insight you can offer.

Whatever the vehicle is worth via Kelly blue book or what ever is usually what you will get no matter what you put on/in the car, short of maybe a Saleen clone look alike. My gt with all I have done, to the sales world is still just a gt. You would be better to take all your mods of and sell separately if you choose to sell. if your lucky you might get a lil over what's it's worth for some mods, don't count on it. As far as devaluing, I don't think It would.

the appearance mods would totally depend on the judges opinion, he might love it or hate it. take your chances I guess
