my friend did that exact thing and it truly doesn't hurt as bad as you would think because it burns the alcohol and only heats up your skin.

Yeah, I dunno if it'd hurt that bad. My friends have these weird habit of lighting their socks on fire, while they're on their feet..
Apparently, your sweat burns or somehting, so they take a lighter and put it up to their sock, the whole thing flashes up and then goes out immediately. Doesn't hurt, apparently.. I've never tried it.

It stinks though, smells really awful.. like burning foot stink.
