I have no idea what im doing :) plz help me

Hello,

I dont know anyone that knows anything about this car i want to buy so i thought you guys were best suited. I was thinking of buying a 1978 Ford Mustang II im not totaly sure on miles but it has new drums, exhaust system, oil pump and some other little things. The man is offering $1,500 and i want to know if this is a good deal and a car worth of spending that money on to eventual restore and be dependent on. Im a newbie looking for my first car and i have a small budget but im willing to learn and build on to the car if needed.

Also im from Portage, Indiana

The Mustang II is looked down upon by the mustang community just because it was just really slow and ugly. I would say it wouldn't be the best investment, but I don't know too much about them. You may want to ask your question in the classic section.
