Elvis Presley's '64 1/2 Mustang
Hello Mustangers; My aunt and uncle has a 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang that they say was a actual road car owned and driven by the king himself Elvis Presley.. They found out about the news and contacted someone that had Ford Archives about the car and gave them the vin number from the car and had sent them papers saying that it indeed was one of his cars... Could someone please guide me to where I might be able to find out this information and maybe more information about Elvis and this car? Any help would be great!. Thank You; Jay

Thank you for the warm welcome.. I do not have any of the pictures yet... I may be able to get some pictures of it next Saturday when i pick it up for the local car show... Should do really well...

Welcome to the forum.
I'm not entirely sure where you would find more info about this, I would imagine ford has all the information on it that is authentic, if it's still around. Anything on the internet would probably be on fan's websites or something and could be unreliable.
You may want to ask the guys over in the classic section about obtaining info on classics, I bet they can help.

Thank you all for the warm welcome.. The car is actually not mine. I have another car that I show but don't want to get mauled from all the Ford guys here....lol... The '64 1/2 Mustang is my Aunt and Uncles... They obtained the file from Ford Motor Company Archives before the fire destroyed the Archives from I believe '67 and under... (That was a shame)... I was just interested in seeing if I could dig up more information about the car before this Saturday (06/24/2006)... We are having a local car show and I am entering this car and I'm sure it will take a prize.. It will be the first show that it has ever entered... The car has been stored in a garage for many many years and people in my area or surrounding areas never seen the car... I was also hoping to get more information so I could answer questions about the car... Is there a web site that I could check out that will give me information from either the vin number or cowl tags?
