I used to own an 86 5.0 convertible, 86 5.0 hardtop,and an 88 5.0 hardtop-

totaled the 1st (T-boned old man while he was making an illegal U-turn)

sold the 2nd at the race track one night, Parents sold the 88 while I was at Boot Camp.

Went to Japan, bought a Nissan 180sx, swapped cams, turbo, rebuilt motor, dynoed 391hp- came back to America, bought a WRX swapped turbo, motor, engine tune, etc dynoed 280all wheel hp- That Japanese car stuff is too expensive for a cheap guy like me [8D]

Sold the Subaru, bought my wife a Ford Focus, got the OK for another 5.0 now. Now the hard part- finding a cheap one thats beat up enough for me. I can paint, rebuild motors etc, so I dont care how jacked up it is (to an extent...)
