hey all, iv always been a musclecar man but right now i drive a euro. I have an 04 VW jetta GLI with a few mods, (turboback,ko4 turbo, tune...ect.) Right now im having problems with it, i.e. not hitting full boost... along with other non engine related problems. I am seriously considering trading up to an 07 GT. Hopefully I will be able to make it happen so i can start on a new project. Anyways thanks for having me

+1. 07 GT or 03-04 Cobra. Those cobra's are quik as **** in case you didnt know. Get rid of the 4 banger and join the darkside. You wont ever go back. Welcome to the forums

the reason i am looking to buy an 07 is because i bought this car with 11k on the clock and have had to many wear related problems in the first year of owning it. I am aware of the benfits of used cars but im weary of buying anouther used "performance" vehicle. Plus i would like to special order my GT, soo i can have my baby exactly how i want her. I want either Vista Blue or black w/ manual. Thanks for your input though... i know what a beast the cobra is, a friend of mine has an 04 with offroad X and mufflers with tune and 2.75 pulley... goddamn its quick. thanks again for the responses and friendly welcome fellas

Welcome to the forum! It's totally understandable that you want to buy your performance car new-- many people who own mustangs, especially cobras, like to mod their cars, which means its probably taken a little beating. Better to know what has been done to your car than not know.
