in the near future im gonna own a 67 mustang, im looking for one that used to have a V6 but is currently motorless, and manual that is currently transmissionless, ive been close to finding what i want but not perfect yet. I want a V6 b/c then when the auto insurance types in my VIN# they'll see that it has a V6, i was informed that you do not have to tell the insurance company if you change motors. Okay, now my plan, im gonna get a chevy 350ci/428hp crate engine off of an edelbrock block, and a 700r4 level 3 tranny, a holley900 cfm caburetor, new (67) ford headers, and flowmasters upuntil the exhaust whichi will bend. the exhaust will have dual pipes which go out to dual tips and they will be lined up, so that it will look like 4single exhaust tipsin a row, then im gonna get a new suspension kit. The things that i need help with are the gears, b/c i dont haveany knowledge of gears andwhat they do. Oh ya, and im getting the back bumper custom and i was thinking maybe thefront to look like elanor... but all that fiberglass work would be 1500$ , all of the work excluding the front fiberglass work would be 9,000$,and the paint will be dark grey with black stripes, just like thesite banner. If anyone could helpme with gears please reply</P>

Gears: The higher you go (numerically), the lower your 1/4 mile times and 0-60 times. The downside is, you get a lower top speed, MPG and it might reduce traction. lt'll also raise the rpms at cruise.
