Welcome! I'm a new Mustang owner too. As for the air intake, I hear most people say to just remove the air silencer and put a K&N filter., which does the job. Of course, getting a custom cold air intake may look prettier, but may not yield much HP over stock.

What's up man and welcome to the forums... this site is great and many of the guys are knowledgeable about their stuff. The cold air intake... I have a BBK CAI and I noticed a slight power increase over just the K&N filter w/the air silencer removed, but you'll probably want to change your throttlebody and plenum which will yield a more noticeable effect. Hope this helped.
