1965 convertible!!!!!!!
Hey everyone!
What a great Day!!! I just purchased a ONE owner 65 convertible. It came with original warranty card , window sticker, tag application, manuel with customer info filled out. His name was Mr patkus and unfornutately he passed away from lung cancer this past week. I would just like to thank him and his family for making such a great car available.
It was meticulously maintained all the records to prove it. It was restored in the 80's to the tune of $16973 in receipts by mustang magic. unfortunately they did a lousy job on the floor pans. The rear of the vehicle is out of alignment. I think on unibody construction, if you do not have the car in "rack" when you weld the pans back in it can throw you out of whack.
Anyway my question is Has anyone had the floorpans redone( stupid question) and if so about how much would it cost to remove perfectly good floor pans and "square" the vehicle and reweld the floor pans? Any guesses???
Thanks Alot,
Michale Coombe
