Hi everyone! I just got a 66 mustang from the 2nd owner( a 81 year old ), this car doesnt have any seatbelts or any visible place where seatbelts have ever been .I asked the man about it, he said it didnt come with any from the factory,,Is he right? I dont want a ticket especially for not restraining my 6 year old..

In all the books out there, it says that all FoMoCo cars (including Lincoln and Mercury) got front seat belts as standard equipment for the 1964 model year. Rear seat belts were optional until the 1966 model year, when they too became standard. However, I have seen certain 1964-1968 Ford cars at various car shows that had NO seats belts and were completely original. I believe these cars could be dealer modified cars at the customer's request, as seat belts and certain other things (such as A/C) could be added or deleted at the dealership level.
Due to Ralph Nader's book Unsafe At Any Speed and legislation, U.S. automakers and all imports across the board were required to have seat belts (shoulder/lap belts for the front outboard positions, lap belts for rear seats), head restraints, padded dashboards, and collapsable steering columns by 1969. The 5 mph bumpers did not become mandatory until 1973.

Your child is worthWAY more than any Mustang!
You can get stock replacement belts. Have a shop (even a Ford dealer) install them correctly.
You'll be glad you did. So will your kid.
No one will ever give you negative comments about protecting your family (and yourself).
If someone does, tell them to go to Hell...
Sorry, for the soapbox, but I am a firm believer in belts.
Wouldn't be here if it wasn't for them.
