Error Code 0181 (Fuel Temperature Sensor) comes on when driving home on a hot (90* to 95* Fahrenheit) afternoon and the engine is misfiring. In the cool (70* to 75* Fahrenheit) morning, there is no engine misfire and no Error Code. Where is the Fuel Temp Sensor so I can inspect it or replace it?

Thanks for the welcome... OK, I will give the Tech Section a try. I searched the Internet for a few hours since I posted my question and found nothing helpful concerning the Fuel Temperature Sensor on a 3.8L V6, 2001 Mustang.

 

Hmm, you may need to take it into the dreaded stealership, and have them look at it if you can't figure it out on your own. Or if you have any friends that are car technicians see if they can help you out (would recommend this highly over going to the dealership).
