Default New mustang owner

Whats up all you stang heads. Well to start off I've always been fond of mustangs. and now I finally got one. Its not the best looking but it runs likea champ. The thing is, the guy I bought it from has a 393 stroker also. What I need to know is where to find parts for this, manuals, and what kind of upgrades I would need to do from my existing parts, IE, trans, rear, driveshaft.....Im not the biggest mechanic but I am capable of doing most of the work and if I cant I have a few buddies at work that said they can help. What I'd like to do is put the engine on a stand and put parts on it slowly, so I dont break myself, and once I have it decently put together actually put it in. But like I said, I dont know if I need to change out the tranny, or rearend, or driveshaft, brakes. Help me if you can, thanks.

Also I forgot to add, it has some dents and dings. I would like to repair them myself but dont even know where to begin on getting the tools or supplies needed to do so. If any of you could help me out there too it would be great. thanks.

Welcome to the forums, I'm going to have to assume you have a 95 gt, and if that is the case you should talk to the guys in the 5.0 mustang section, they should be able to help you out with most of your questions.

(edited for being a dumbass)

Oh my bad, I didn't get much sleep and wasn't thinking straight, I was focused on the bodystyle, and not the actual engine. Sorry, you should talk to the guys in the 5.0 section, or in the general tech section.

I wish I knew more about those cars so I could help, but my limited knowledge is mostly of the classics.
