Default 1st stang

Hello everybody my name is David and I am new to Mustangs. I use to have a Grand National that I had a love hate relationship with it was pretty fast 11.9s in the quarter. I spent alot of money on that car then it got stolen and never recovered. About a year ago I bought my friends 95 GT with 53,000 miles on it for $5000. Good price but it did not run you see we are Aircraft Mechanics and he and I thought we could stroke it are selves well it all went horribly wrong and we burnt a piston and that was it. Sat for 7 yearsbuying it. I dropped 5000 dollars getting it professionaly stroked. Then my excessive compulsive personality set in. Now it has AFR 185 heads, 30 lb injectors, 373 rear, 65 mm TB, trick flow intake, sitting on a 347 stroker block with forged pistons every thing else is stocked , except the cam. Which is somewhat of a enigma , my friend says it is a 707 cam. But know one knows what that is. I am thinking of changing it and my TB to a 303 cam and a 75 mm TB. It made 340 hp and 390 lbs of torque on a Mustang Dyno. I need more hp because I will be racing my buddys at the track and hey got gas that runs good. But I love this Mustang Thing.

Hi David,
That Mustang sounds like a great project, but we'll need pictures too!

Overhauls are always love/hate, but with all that and only 340hp???? You should have upwards of 400hp
