Default New member 2 Mustang owner (convertible question)

Hello!

I have two Mustangs. A 1998 GT convertible that is white with saddle (tan) top and saddle and black interior. I have done no modifying to it but the previousowner added a cold air intake and stainless exhaust. I would like to slowly start adding a few things as my budget allows.

I also have a 1966 coupe that I got as a basketcase for my 16th birthday. In the past 14 years my dad and I have done everything you can imagine to that car and of course it is time to do much of it again. According to the VIN the 66 was originally a 6 cyl 3 speed. It had already been altered when I got it so I have not been too worried about authenticity. It currently has a 302 out ofan 83 and it has a C4 automatic.

My current question has to do with the 98 convertible and I am not sure what section to put the question under so if it would be better to post this question under a different heading let me know...
ANYWAY...I am collecting water behind my back seat. It looks as though the top is coming away from the rear glass. How can I attach the top back to the glass? Was it originally glued? I can't see any holes where it would have been stitched to it. What adhesive would I use? I appreciateany suggestions.
