New mustang as DD
Hey fellas. I just bought a mustang today. I figured I would give these forums a try.
The car is a 97 GT with 180k on it. 4.6 5speed. As far as I know its for flowmaster exhaust and a hypertech chip. Its white with flaking paint and gray leather. Its pretty loaded up, all power. It already has cobra wheels on it and euros and projectors. I dont have alot of plans for this car as it will be my daily. I need something to drive while I fix up my other toy... http://s162.photobucket.com/albums/t...eydude3602000/ I have a 93 s10 with a 350 transplant. Seems the ******* exhaust shop didnt do things quite right. It started leaking and a hole blew in my floor board and caught my new carpet on fire so it will be down for a while. I got it driveable but the exhaust just isnt right and its unsafe to drive.
But I do have some slight plans for the car. I work in autobody repair as a body tech and painter so I will be fixing the fender and painting the car soon. I will probably leave the interior alone but it will be getting a dvd player, flip out screen, and some bang. Its exciting to have a trunk cause now I can have a louder system.
As far as performance, the car is plenty fast for me. I will have my truck road and track ready for next summer so I will leave this engine alone.
But Im sure I will have alot of questions and I will get you guys some pics tomarrow.
