New Mustang, New Member
Hello to the group! We are getting a new Mustang in a few days. It's a V6 pony package and nicely equipped with heated leather seats, interior upgrade pkg., Sirius radio, HID headlights, ABS, traction control, and automatic. Color is Vapor with black stripes above the rocker panels. I think we will probably add black racing stripes down the center of the car as its first mod. This will primarily be my wifes car, but she says I can drive once in a while (if I'm really good). She used to have a '67 coupe and I used to have an '82 GT so we aren't strangers to Mustangs. It will be good to have one in the garage again.

Just got home with our new Mustang. It'scertainly nice to drive and handles the curves very well. The wife did let me drive it part way home.

We think it would look great with black racing stripes down the middle. I'm wondering if there are good alternatives to the accessory stripes offered through Ford. I have seen kits on the web for much less and don't mind doing the work myself, but wonder about the quality of the materials. Any input is welcome.

We were lucky to have a decent day and dry roads to drive it home from the dealer 55 miles away. We washed it and put it in the garage until nicer weather arrives.Thatshould to give us plenty of time to study the manual 'cause the weather report calls for crappy weatherall next week. We also have an '07 F-150 FX4 and an '05Jeep Libertyso it will be a fair weather only car.

Welcome to the forums and great looking ride. I got stripes for two different mustangs at Graphic Express. The guy who put them on said they were very good quality. here is the site
