Hi! I joined to continue learning about my '66 GT Coupe and to seek advice/guidance from the wonderful members on MF.

I have been restoring my '66 for a little over 1 1/2 years and am mere months away from cruising the cool MN roads in it. The car is currently at paint and I am working on finding and cleaning up the rest of the parts I need to finish out the project.

The car was originally my dad's and has been inmy family for 31 years. Dadtook it apart 25 years ago tofix some bad rusting outand never got a chance to put it back together before he passed away. I've always loved that car and the restore is as much a tribute to him as it is a rite of passageforme.

I'll post some picsof the restore work soon- especially when she gets back from paint.
