Default Mustang Newbie

I purchased a 2004 mustang march of '04. Standard coupe, V6 3.8L, 5sp trans, and it's still stock with 192hp. Looking for some things to do to it and hopefully will turn out how I see it in my head. Right now I'm looking to change the rims, something in the lines of black colored or like a graphite. Here is my question though. Older mustangs, it wasn't unheard to have big tires in the back of the car and smaller ones up front. I'm looking to do the same thing. I'm thinking 18s in the back and either keeping the 16s or maybe going to 17s up front. How bad is that gonna screw up the car and the way it drives. Not really interested in racing the car, more or less for show look and a little spice in the back seat. Is it possible to do this or am I better off just rethinking and looking into a different spec.

Welcome!

As for the car, you can do small bolt on mods- exhuast, cold air intake... etc for small HP gains, and then also do some appearance mods. What color is the car? If it's black, you should do chrome rims or black rims. I like the deep dish black bullitts and hope to get those one day. I think black on black is awesome. But, if it's another color, chrome always looks sharp.

For more info, hit up the v6 forum, we have some knowledgeable folks over there.

I hear ya on the black on black. I didn't get a choice on the color of my car when I bought it cause it was a demo car and was the only one offered for the price I got it. But any way, Ford calls the color Crimson Red. Kinda like a deep red or almost bergandy with very small specs of glitter in the paint. Very sharp color in my oppinion; even though I don't like red and red cars, this one really grew onto me over the past year. It seems like the more I get into the vehicle the more she grabs me into her spell.
