Got a 88 mustang. Took the engine out yesterday.It came out smooth.It has an automatic transmission ( on the floor console ) in it. We went to move it today and we cannot get the transmission out of "Park".
Did we wreck something, how come it won't go into neutral? How can we get it into neutral to move it around and wash it up ??

your linkage could be twisted you need to take a jack and jack the tranny up to make it level and that should work
