Hi, guys I am here with big questions! I have had 2 mustangs and 2 corvettes . Now my dad has had a 96 v6 since 96 with original 109 dealer miles, bought crashed in dealership parkinglot! I have always wanted to do something with it! well now I am ready my question is are the tranny and rearend the same as a v8 so I could put a v8 in it and will a 351 drop in I can get it basicly bery cheap because now chimpmunks at gas tank wires but otherwise still has brand new smell I know its risky with it being stored 12 years! but I want a fun fast car sheap! thanks

it does not, but a slightly moded v8 4.6, will be ok with v6 parts, but not a 351.... if i where you, i'd put in supercharger and some other bolt on's on ur v6
