I was once the owner of a 1996 GT with bolt ons, slicks, and consistent 12.30 runs on 93 octane. I currently own a 1989 turbo rx7 putting down a respectable 318 rwhp @8700 rpm. I plan on building a mustang sometime in the future, and I have a rather bizzare goal in mind. 1000+ rwhp @8000ish rpm. I hope someone can point me in the right direction as to how and who to build this amazing engine. The ultimate goal for this automobile is highway racing.

 

Welcome to the site. Did the 89 have the wankel engine in it. My with had an 81 or 82 RX7 with the rotary engine. I went from San Antonio Tx. to Blytheville Ark. in about 5 or 6 hours when I was young. Only got one ticket in Live Oak Texas. Luckily for me I had been behind slow traffic and was accelerating when he clocked me. A little further down the road and I would have been thrown in the jail instead of a ticket.
