Howdy from Oklahoma!
Hi all,
I am a self proclaimed 'crusty old fart" who is now officially a "ex" Chevy lover and moving to the blue oval!
For years I built and drove GM muscle and have a big place in my heart for them....I admit that I talked trash about Fords even while knowing that they were actually amazingly unique in design and history.
But now after seeing my former love give up it's integrity and honor for a welfare check from the Feds I can not associate with "Government Motors".
And so I now see the only "REAL" American steel is Ford. As such I will come out of the closet and admit further that the Mustang has always been a car I wanted. I find the 71 to 73 models to be some of the baddest looking cars ever made!
If you are asking have I have started on my journey for the atonement of my sins the answer is:
Yes, I have found a long abandoned 73 Mach 1 to be my project. It is a worthy specimen. Considered totaled and stripped of most all but it's shell, forgotten in a boneyard and destined for Chinese metal recyclers...I have chosen this to be my chance at redemption by bringing a classic a resurrection it deserves!
And so I hope you will welcome me into the fold.
