HI, I'm Chris and I used to dislike Mustangs
For most of my young life, 24, I have always disliked Mustangs, mostly the 1969-2010. I don't know if it was the styling, the engine, or the popularity (I do like to have some rarity in my tastes). Now it seems Ford has made a Mustang worthy of its name... Now I am not trying to beat this car down and I come with a white flag in the air... The previous versions always seemed a couple steps behind in the technology department, i.e. 5 speeds when others had 6 speeds. Anyway, I now have the opportunity to buy a new car in the summer of '11 so the Mustang 5.0 (and maybe a used GT500) is now on my list of cars to look at.
On a side note, just from lookin at random posts, this community seems to be very well behaved and all around nice... I don't see that much from most car forums.
Anyway, I just wanted to introduced myself and hope that I am not an unwelcome member here :-)

I love my mustang and hope to never get rid of it. Best car I've ever had.
