So yeah... those are the pics that I was able to get posted up for you guys. I ended up having to go with a 9 inch diameter air cleaner because of hood clearance issues. This one has a heighth of 2 inches and barely fits. The previous owner apparently put the Edelbrock cleaner on and then tried to force the hood closed resulting in a small crimp in the middle of the hood which has caused a small gap where the hood should be level with the side panels. Its annoying, but after seeing all of the pollen and dust that the cleaner has filtered so far it was a must. Now I am wondering how much crap the engine took in since it was run without any filtration. Will any type of cleaning after the fact help with the trash that might of already been sucked in?
