Question Lambo Doors Kits?? Are they still popular?

I am just wondering what happened to that fad of Lambo Doors Kits? Also the whole chrome spinners on the wheels, just wondering what happened to that...

I know that this company can do that and other things just wondering: Auto Superior Restyling

I could see having lambo doors for one reason: cramped parking. My garage is a so-called 'standard' sized 2 bay garage, but I've noticed that newer houses seem to really skimp on garage space. I have to angle each car in the garage to be able to open the doors without hitting the other car, and even then it's very close. And if every car had lambo doors, then asshats carelessly dinging your car in a parking lot would be a thing of the past. How nice would that be?

There are variation kits out there that allow the door to open normally OR vertically. If I were into the lambo style, I'd go that route so I could open the doors normally most of the time but go vertical when space was cramped...

Dude, welcome to the forum, but you're starting to look like a spammer. Both of your posts have been links to outside companies. I'm no veteran here, but I'm pretty sure that trying to drum up business for a non-sponsor company is frowned upon. If that's not the case, then I apologize.

As for Lambo doors, most people with Mustangs tend to stick to the more traditional pony car style with them, so you probably won't see a lot of lambo door conversions, unless it's a totally custom car.

Yeah if you have no room then I guess the lambo doors are the trick, I just remember seeing them everywhere back in the day, and now nothing... I wonder if they will come out of the wood work and become popular...

You might try asking your question in one of the Appearance sections.

I've never seen a car with Lambo doors installed that the hinges did not eventually sag on and then become a headache. I'm assuming this is why they have faded from being popular.

welcome

Personally I am not a fan of such extreme cosmetic changes.
