Default exhaust problems

Okay, so I have a 2001 mustang convertible and have been driving with a break in the exhaust for a little over a month. The reason for that is because out of all the muffler shops I've been to, they all offer to weld the pieces but none of them can take them off. All the people who DO offer to take them off charge 200 or more which quite frankly I just can't afford right now. From my understanding the right exhaust manifold broke at the outlet flange. Now, can someone please tell me how to remove the manifold and flange? I don't know much of a lick about cars but I've always wanted to and I guess this is the perfect opportunity.

I wouldn't recommend tackling this as your first time wrenching on a car. Working with exhaust will leave you wishing you'd have taken it in. Unless you have a lift and the right tools. Replacing an exhaust manifold is not a fun job, even without snapping any bolts or studs. Good luck though either way.
