Default 2000 mustang

I have a question on my mustang that im completely redoing the trans is an auto an it a 3.8 the trans works great in all gears but over drive when it shifts into o\d it like goe s into nutrill any help I would be great full thanks

Welcome to the forum, does the fluid seem a much darker color and have a burnt odor to it ? If so, time for a rebuild.

no the fluid looks good an don't smell burnt that's whats throwing me off thanks for the repile

I do not know the SN95 Mustangs as well as the S197...

I wish I could help!

How many miles on the car/trans?

Head over to the tech form and start a thread. Someone here should... WILL be able to help you troubleshoot this!
