Bought my first Mustang! It is a 2000 GT convertible in Black out. Basically mod free, just a CAI and loudmouth catless X pipe. It runs and sounds amazing and I got a really good deal. Only 89k and the interior is flawless and exterior almost as good.

I would like to bump up the HP from the stock 260 to the 300 range. What would it take to do that? I don't want to go crazy as it will be my summertime DD. Any input helpful.

Going with a 3:73 rear end would give you a lot more pickup.

Thanks all. Not real big plans as it will be my DD in the summer months. It sounds amazing already, I think my first mod will be a tuner. I have My F150 ecoboost tuned by Torrie and will probably have him tune my GT also. After that I think gears but before that I want to make sure I have adequate stopping power so I am going to take it to my brake and tire guy and get his thoughts. I'll post up pics as soon as we het decent weather!
