Talking New member/owner

Bought my first Mustang! It is a 2000 GT convertible in Black out. Basically mod free, just a CAI and loudmouth catless X pipe. It runs and sounds amazing and I got a really good deal. Only 89k and the interior is flawless and exterior almost as good.

I would like to bump up the HP from the stock 260 to the 300 range. What would it take to do that? I don't want to go crazy as it will be my summertime DD. Any input helpful.

Thanks

Congrats...

Going with a 3:73 rear end would give you a lot more pickup.

Welcome to the forum, congrats on the 2000.

Check out the Tech section for any mods, plenty of info in there. Good luck

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your purchase and a deal! Sounds like you've got some big plans for it already. Make sure to post up some pics for us and good luck with all the future mods.

Thanks all. Not real big plans as it will be my DD in the summer months. It sounds amazing already, I think my first mod will be a tuner. I have My F150 ecoboost tuned by Torrie and will probably have him tune my GT also. After that I think gears but before that I want to make sure I have adequate stopping power so I am going to take it to my brake and tire guy and get his thoughts. I'll post up pics as soon as we het decent weather!
