owner of a 2006 mustang gt convertible. Purchased two years ago. Recently went to change spark plugs and ignition coils. Only to break four of eight plugs. My problem was two plugs left the entire plug except for wing nut. Any help would be appreciated

If you check the S197 section I believe there is a sticky for how to extract the broken plug. It was a very common problem on the 4.6 up until Ford changed the plug style in later model years. The tool is a lisle tool I think?

Default broken spark plugs

Thanks for the info! I did purchase the lisle tool and it helped me removing two of the four broken plugs. The other two plugs sheared off leaving the threads and all in the head. But just came out. I don’t know if anyone experienced that. Looking for help
