Spark Plug Problem, What's the Solution?
My 2005 Mustang running a little rough at idle, not too terribly though. I decided to check the spark plugs since it had 65,000 miles on it. The plugs looked like they needed to be changed so I went ahead and changed them. After this I drove the car a day or two and the car ran much better but every once in while it sounded like it had a slight miss. I changed the wires thinking they might need replaced too. The wires also helped and the car runs much more smoothly now but there is still the slight miss so I went back and checked my work. I checke the plugs and notice the middle one on the drivers side was only about half way in. I took it out, looked at it, and put it back in. It won't go in farther than halfway. Are the threads stripped? If so how do I go about fixing this?

Click on the 2005-2010 section, then click on the 4.0 section and post there this section is the 94-04 3.8 v6 section for future reference.
Take the plug out and check the threads. If they happen to be stripped replace the plug.
