Default First Mustang long time Chevrolet guy

Just got my first Mustang. 2018 Fastback 6Spd. Love it so far. Turned off all traction and stability control today and when I shifted hard from 1st to 2nd gear the car got a bit loose.

Seems like turning off all stability and traction control can be a bad idea lol

Congratulations. You'll find the build quality to be a lot better, at least in my experience. Fords traction control is quite generous even if left on. The Mustang becomes a handful for some reason when it is turned completely off.

Find an empty parking lot & get used to the car,.......................& save up for some serious tires..
