I own a 1994 sn95 v6 mustang and i want to do an engine swap to a v8 I’ve tried doing research for the easiest but also most powerful and cost effective engine swap just wanted to hear which is the best engine to put in there i looked at ford module v8 and the Ford boss but no one really explains what i would need to have for it but what engine is the best one to engine swap with power and cost effective

Cheapest and easiest would probably be a 302 windsor, they came with them so you know they fit and they can be made powerful relatively cheaply. Regardless you will need an ecu and have to do a fair bit of wiring to make it work.

It will certainly be a lot more difficult, if you are looking for something more modern I'd do a coyote swap. But it starts getting pricey when you add up all the stuff you need.

Yeah they are very similar but the f150 makes a bit less power since it has lower compression and uses different cams and an intake (you can swap those though if you want)
