Hey guys not new to the car world but new to the Stang world. Me and my g/f just got a 95GT Conv. Looking to start some mods and do a good tune up on it.


What should i do

Plugs
Wires
Coil???
Cap & Rotor
Oil & Filter
Serp Belt


What else??? Oh the air filter is brand new so i might change it to a Cold air or not but not sure how soon. Let me know what you guys think i would greatly appreciate it.

Well this is stuff to get it in best operating order even though it already runs great. I just like knowing what i put in there. These aren't mods there basic mait. The mods will come later when i probably do a all motor setup. To get about 300rwhp which is what i am going to shoot for. I was thinking a 3.73 gear should be just fine. Not a 4.10 since this is an auto car.

AOD? Yeah, 3.73's would be nice for longer trips.

Your list is pretty good, I'd start there.

Oil filter, trans flush, fuel filter, plugs, wires, dist. cap, etc.

Auto with overdrive yeah i hate a auto but when you find a mint condition 95gt conv with 55k on it with a auto and the g/f's parents will get it for her since it wasn't a 5 speed. Can't pass it up
