just jumped over from the classic forum.
I am in Australia where tarmac is probably the fastest growing area of motorsport at the moment.
I have an event starting 11/3/06 Mt Buller Sprint and my favorite event, the CLassic Adelaide rally on about the 15th of november.
in answer to your questions...
yep...rates right up there with good sex
yep...can be a wallet buster like any other form of motorsport!! Our car owes us around $70,000 not including event entry fees and consumables. Straight up currency conversion would be around $50k US but looking at relative parts prices over there it seems about the same $ for $.
