Race in SCCA ITB and been having trouble with hydraulic setup with oval port head. Head is now off and was wondering what is the best head for road racing: Oval port, D-port, closed chamber, small valve-8 plug? Any suggestions?

I would go with a D-Port closed chamber head with a 82-84 Sheffield intakebecause the floor is naturally smooth compared to the non Sheffield rough floor. They say Sheffield on the top of the intake. I would visit www.autismracecar.com and talk to Paul Noah, he is the BEST ford 2.3L guy around in my opinion.

Thanks for the input! I thought the closed chamber would be the way to go.
