I am selling a Almost new Tremec t56 transmission. It only has 200 miles on it I bought it brand new 6 months ago and have upgraded to a powerglide. I paid $2200 for the transmission and am willing to let it go for $1200 shipped.The transmission is so new it doesn't even have any grease on it. I am going to just take a guess you did not like the transmission. Why would you sell something you put 200 miles on and loose over a grand on it?? Was there an issue with it?

was it a 5.0? s197? ya, we need to know the engine/car it was in. My guess on the sell was that the low gearing of the T56 wasnt what you wanted for a drag car. It has a first gear of like 2.95 or something usually. This may be a different one. What are the gear ratios if you dont mind? or a model number so we can look it up?

New T-56 costs easily $3199, where'd you get it for $2200? Also, how is it possible for a tranny with 200 miles on it to never have had any grease on it?

Every where i look they are 2200..... I think ur thinking about the Viper T-56 those cost ALOT more.
