Can anyone tell me just how hard it is to install a nitrous system in a stang, about what it will cost and how long it would take to install if you had everything there waiting to go in?

 

Depends on the kit you want, and the year mustang your putting it in. Its not a very hard job, it just depends how much you want to spray. If it is dry, itll take like an hour at most. If its a wet kit, it'll take a little longer, maybe hour and a half - two hours, if its just a nozzle. If its a plate kit, well itll take a lot longer because you'd have to pull the upper intake off. What kit do you want and what year mustang do youhave?

 

Dry kits range from $480 - $520.00
Wet kits range from $560 - $1,000.00

If it is your first kit it will take no less than 3 hours if you do a neat job and keep everything clean.
Dry kits take around 2-3 hours to install
Wet kits take around 3-4 hours to install

 

yes thats a little more accurate. no way can you do it in 1 hour.

most shops charge about $300-$500 for the install , i would never pay for it.

it's very ez. you need to do some minor wiring (tap a hot power X 2 , and ground a few pieces)
mount the bottle , put the selonoids together (use paste , not tape)
expect 4 hours total since your first time.
