Default gauges

What gauges would you suggest for a blower setup and wheres the best place to get them? I wan't a pillar with 3 gauges going up the window, I was thinking boost, air/fuel, and maybe fuel pressure.
Whatcha think???

Sound about right, why dont you check out the in dash gauge bezel from summit. It has two gauge pods built in under the stock fuel gauge and the stock oil gauge, I think. Then just go with one gauge pillar. Looks better IMO.

narrow band a/f gauges are a waste of money because they dont tell you anything so id look into another gauge. maybe engine temp or trans temp

Some people say having fuel pressure gauges in the engine compartment isn't a good idea. I have one on the fuel rail, and I don't know if it's a big deal or njot, but I thought I'd throw it out there. I have a single pod a-pillar gauge for bosst.

Instead of trying to fill pillar pod holes why not figure out which gauges you want and then buy the right pod.

I think boost and wb a/f is the way to go.

+1 about narrowband a/f ratio. mine is worthless. EVERYBODY loves the way it looks though. it gives quite the light show.

definitely get a boost gauge. dont settle for just boost though.....make sure you get one that does vacuum and boost. fuel pressure is essential also. (i wish mine worked....grrrr).

trans temp wouldn't be a bad idea. i personally dont need much more accuracy than what the dash temp gauge gives me for the engine, but some might. it'd be AWESOME to have an intake air temp gauge.....do they even make them?

i think i'd stick with the 3 gauge pod, even if you only need 2 of them. fill the 3rd, and impress everybody who doesn't know any better. all i ever hear about mine is "wow, this is awesome, its like being in the cockpit of a fighter jet". (i have a 3 gauge pillar, and 5" tach with shift light, on top of all the other gauges in the dash, including the 200mph speedometer). if you really like making your interior look impressive, get one of the flip out TV's also. i have an eclipse. when i'm showing the car, i have the radio on but muted, so you don't hear it, but it still plays the screen saver. between that thing bouncing around, and my A/F gauge bouncing from lean to rich to lean to rich, it makes it look WAY more complex than it really is.

although, when i watch my a/f gauge, all i can think to myself is:

whewww wheewww. wheeww wheewww..........Hello Michael........

(and for those of you who dont get that, no, my name is not michael.)
